For all our bariatric newbies …. So you have just started researching bariatric surgery and you come across a forum with like-minded people and all of a sudden you find yourself in the midst of a pile of abbreviations and terminology and short-cuts that makes about zero sense to you.  I thought it would be fun to make a list of those abbreviations and what they mean so that you can have a quick “go to list” while you get up to speed with all this new terminology.  I am sure I will miss a few short-cuts so feel free to add them to the comments so we can all have something more comprehensive.
