Sheri's Seared Tuna Cucumber Bites - Bariatric Edition

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 tsps Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 7 ozs Ahi Tuna (sushi-grade)
  • 1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
  • 1/2 Cucumber (medium, thickly sliced)
  • 1 1/2 tsps Cilantro
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Coat the tuna with sesame seeds. Sear the tuna for four to five minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Thinly slice the tuna into bite-sized pieces. Add a piece of tuna to each cucumber slice. Top with cilantro and soy sauce. Enjoy!

Notes

Leftovers: Best enjoyed immediately. Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to a day.
Serving Size: One serving is equal to approximately three to four cucumber pieces.
No Cilantro: Omit or use green onion instead.
